We are William and Karen Pimlott, hobbiest breeders and exhibitors of bantams and some large fowl.
We have kept poultry for many years, showing at a serious level for several, winning regionally and nationally with our birds. We are regular exhibitors at the PCGB National Show, The Federation Show and the Scottish National.
Pimlotts Poultry is not a business, but a passion and a hobby gone mad!
We have a market garden business and stand markets in Lancashire, Manchester and Cumbria. With full time jobs its hard to fit everything in, but one of our sons 'Ben' shares our love of poultry and helps out a lot. Ben has his own game birds, he breeds and shows, and has won many prizes with his bantams, they are a credit to him.

Over the years our birds have led us to all sorts of media fame. Our birds have appeared in numerous books and magazines, we have done phone-ins on Radio Lancashire, and we have also appeared on ITV's Grub's Up, along side TV chef Simon Rimmer. Simon cooked bread and butter pudding using our eggs! Our Croad Langshans have also recently been used in the filming of 'Botany - a Blooming History' on BBC4 which was screened in Spring 2011.
I also judge up and down the country several times a year, this year I am judging the Faverolles at the PCGB National Show. I also write a regular column in Smallholder Magazine 'shows to be seen at' - all exciting stuff!
