We are William & Karen Pimlott. A husband & wife team who devote most of our free time our love of Poultry.
PIMLOTTS POULTRY IS A HOBBY NOT A BUSINESS.
We are Market Gardeners by trade. We grow our own seasonal produce & sell it at Farmers Markets across Lancashire & Cumbria. See our PIMLOTTS PRODUCE page for more details. Along with breeding, exhibiting & running Poultry Keeping courses I (Karen) am a Poultry Club of Great Britan judge & part of the editorial team on THE POULTRY JOURNAL a subscription only publication that is published especially for the poultry showman.
In the last few years we have done exceptionally well with our chosen birds. Our birds have won all over the country, including the three major shows of the poultry calendar, The Federation, The Poultry Club National Show & the Scottish National show in which we had three birds in the best of breed pens in 2009
Our birds have led us into alsorts of media fame, including phone in's on Radio Lancashire & we have appeared on ITV's Grub'sUp alongside TV chef Simon Rimmer.
Our birds have also been featured in a book 'Know Your Chickens' by author Jack Byard a great book for chicken mad children.

We visit schools (on request) along with some of our friendly chicken's that especially like cuddles from little people.Several schools in the surrounding area now keep their own birds. We have also visted schools on the Fylde Coast & in Huddersfield.
We are also committee members of our local bantam society, Southport &Ormskirk.
Occasionally we have some of our pure breeds for sale. We do not sell our hatching eggs.
We have laying hens suitable for the novice keeper, are available for sale all year round, all fully vaccinated. We also run poultry keeping courses suitable for all March- September.
Birds and sundries can be collected in person from our yard (APPOINTMNTS ONLY) or collected from one of the many Farmers markets that we stand.
Bird sales have to be worked around our business that's why we are appointment only but we will do our best to arrange a day & time to suit.
