We have laying hens available all year round. All our hens are fully vaccinated and wormed. They make great pets and are more hardy than pure breeds & easy to do. We recommend these birds for the first time keeper. They should lay you at least 300+ eggs per year once they start to lay and should continue to do so for a good three years. All our birds are sold at point of lay (POL) but depending on the time of year can come into lay from 20 weeks of age onwards. We can advise when you collect your birds. All our different types of laying hens are of equal good temperaments and all are good layers. All laying hens are £14.00 each. Wings can be clipped on request free of charge. We have no pure breeds available for sale at this time. Any surplus stock we have will be advertised here later on in the year.
