Our News 2007
In autumn 2006 a crew filming for ITV's grubs up descended on us & we had a great time! Tv chef Simon Rimmer came along with them to film an episode for the series. Which was aired on ITV in July 2007. We had a great resopnse from the program, with people actually recognising us, which was quite funny !
Simon is used our eggs to cook a dish on the program. He was also filmed with me bathing a bird in preperation for a show which was hilarious!!! Unfortunately all our birds were in moult at the time so the look a bit scruffy to say the least, but hey we were on the telly!!
Radio
On the 31st of May 2007 I was invited down to Radio Lancashire to do a talking point on the Ted Robbins Morning show on poultry, where listeners e-mailed in & phoned in for advice & with their poulty questions. It was great fun & thanks to Radio I hope I was of help!
We donated some hatching eggs to Oakwood school in Chichester, This is what the children sent us back.
Plans. In June 2006 we had plans passed to open an education, visitors centre. Although at present this idea is on hold due to other commitments we have, it is something to look forward to in the not to distant future. Watch this space, your school or you may want to visit us too!
